In September, visit the museum for a special talk with Ry Rocklen, artist-in-residence at the newVisual Art Center, then join The Blanton Book Club to discuss The Elizabethan World Picture by E.M.Y. Tillyard, selected by artistVernon Fisher, who will meet with members of the bookclub on November 7, or practice yoga in the galleries.

Special Lecture: Fabrication and Disintegration of Contemporary Art Saturday, September 18, 2PM Blanton Auditorium, Free Profiled in the New Yorker as “the art doctor,” Christian Scheidemann, a leading conservator of modern and contemporary art and founder of Contemporary Conservation Ltd. in New York, explores issues related to the conservation of contemporary art.
