2010: Clay will feature an eclectic group of Texas artists who provide a unique perspective on the ceramic medium. Curator Ben Appl selected each artist for their unconventional use of clay that pushes the boundaries of the medium. This show displaying installation, figurative, industrial and bio-morphic ceramic works opens the world of versatility of clay and breaks pre-conceived notions of the mediums abilities. Participating artists include Ben Appl, Karen Bolton, Julie Isaacson, Jamie Johnson, Pat Johnson, Mike Kobe, Maryanne McGrath, Ross Randall, Tomas Sneider, Jason Tarver, Blu Vela and Jess Wade.
